By Product

We disassemble damaged products to accurately identify the cause of the problem, repair or replace parts to improve quality and perfomrance to the level of new products through re-assembly and tests.
Current status
Excessive vibration occured when rotating at 1,200 RPM
Possible Cause
Out of 30 gear teeth, one tooth was estimated to be damaged.
The time for one rotation at 1,200RPM was 50m/sec, and when vibration wave was checked, it was confirmed that there was an impact every 50m/sec.

Analysis and conclusion
Vibration spectrum provided conclusive evidence in identification of gear damage.
The spin frequency (20 Hz) was minimal in the spectrum, while the gear mesh frequency (600 Hz) was found to be twice as high (1200 Hz).
In general, in case of gear damage, the mesh frequency doubles.
